On this TJPS Truth In Transit investigation, I visited Houston, Texas, where residents of the historically Black Fifth Ward are fighting back against a multi-billionaire railroad company that caused a cancer cluster in their community. Over the course of my investigation, I analyzed hundreds of documents and reports, interviewed residents and community members, and saw firsthand what’s happening.
